To knit socks with a sock blank you unravel it as you go, knitting directly from the sock blank, or if preferred you can unravel the sock blank and wind it into a ball.
This dye styles gives a different end colour result than just dyeing a skein of yarn.
Please note that there will be lighter spots where the dye did not completely penetrate through the knitted ‘fabric’ giving almost a speckled effect.
